Rehearsal images have today been released for Mites, which comes to Tristan Bates Theatre next month, from Monday 7 October – Sunday 27 October.
This bleakly comic absurdist piece is an interpretation of mental health based on personal experience. This boundary-pushing production explores the emotional turmoil, the paranoia and the mistrust which can result from mental health issues and probes important questions about the agency and manipulation of those vulnerable in today’s society.
When a pest controller turns up at the house of a lonely and deserted woman and begins to claim to be her estranged husband, things take a turn in this unusual production. Can she trust this man? Can she trust her talking cat? Can she trust herself?
The stellar cast includes Claire Marie Hall (The Grinning Man, West End), Richard Henderson (Cursed, Netflix) as Bartholomew and George Howard as Ken (Votes for Women, New Vic).
Mites is playing at the Tristan Bates Theatre from 7th – 26th October
