Production images have been released for The Astonishing Times of Timothy Cratchit, which opened at Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester last week.
The Astonishing Times of Timothy Cratchit tells the tale of a young man who sets out to find his place in an expanding and volatile world. The show is a sequel to the most loved and celebrated Christmas story, A Christmas Carol, and follows the plight of young Tim who lives with his benefactor, Ebenezer Scrooge.
The new musical,written by Andre Catrini, stars Hollyoaks regular Helen Pearson and has direction by Jonathan O’Boyle (The View UpStairs, Cruel Intentions, Hair, This House, Pippin, Rain Man), choreography by Sam Spencer-Lane and musical direction by Chris Poon.
The Astonishing Times of Timothy Cratchit is produced by Katy Lipson for Aria Entertainment and Joseph Houston & William Whelton for Hope Mill Theatre, in association with Timothy Cratchit Development LLC.
The Astonishing Times of Timothy Cratchit is playing at the Hope Mill Theatre until 29 December.
